Cyber-Criminals have Infected Over Four Million Android Phones with Malware

Over 4 million android users have been targeted by hackers with malicious software. These cyber criminals are hacking android phones, tablets or other smartphones in different ways.
hackers will send spam email from their previously hijacked email accounts. According to San Francisco-based mobile security company Lookout, this kind of infectious spam technique happens no less than 20 thousand times every day.
The criminals are using malicious mobile malware famously known as “NotCompatible” to infect the Android phones. At first, the hackers will infect the legitimate site having malicious code. Once the victim visits the site from their mobiles, they can innocently download the code and this action is known as the “drive-by-download.”
Another type of approach by the hackers is by tricking the victims. They will send email to the victim with attached virus pretending to be an Android phone system “security patch.”
There are several techniques they are using n in addition to that, they apply spamming emails to the Android phones having weight loss solutions for the naïve victims. But these emails do actually contain malicious software.
